Cannabis industry in Quebec continues to grow thanks to strong roster of
entrepreneurially minded, innovative local businesses

Boisbriand, Que., October 8 2020 – Navaya, a Quebec-based company focused on producing premium, low-cost, high-yield cannabis, announces its membership in l’Association québécoise de l’industrie du cannabis (AQIC). A growing association founded in 2019, AQIC has set out to support and represent licensed producers and firms that service the industry, helping them to optimize the growth of the sector in a responsible and constructive manner, collaborating to build a better future for Quebec’s cannabis industry.

“We are very pleased to be a part of AQIC and to work collaboratively to grow the industry with our fellow members,” says Mark Stermer, chief executive officer of Navaya. “There’s no doubt we can all contribute in our own way, while supporting each other through the projects, goals and challenges that are common to each of us.”

In joining AQIC, Navaya will be adding its energy and resources to an already active group of 40-plus members who are acting as a strong voice for Quebec’s cannabis industry.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark CEO of Navaya to l’AQIC,” says Michel Timperio, AQIC chairman. The AQIC has over the last 18 months, clearly demonstrated its dynamism in representing the interest of the cannabis industry in Quebec. The inclusion of several new licenced producers such as Navaya as part of its valued memberships is an addition to our unified voice,” said Timperio.

Navaya has recently completed the first phase of a bold recruitment campaign and is set to submit to Health Canada samples of its first harvests in the very near future.
