Navaya begins recruitment campaign to fill some 50 positions by year end

BOISBRIAND, Que., July 6, 2020 – Navaya announces today the start of a recruitment campaign to fill more than 50 positions at its facility in Boisbriand, Quebec. The company, which was founded in March 2019, received its cultivation license last month and is continuing the installation of its production equipment, with production starting this summer.

“Good growth comes with good planning and preparations,” says Mark Stermer, chief executive officer of Navaya. “We’re now at the stage where we need a wider group of passionate staff to propel us toward our next goal – delivery of product by Q4 this year.”

The organization is looking to fill a variety of positions by the end of 2020, in cultivation, cloning, and quality assurance, and roles in post-production.

“We’re looking for qualified people in cultivation, cloning and sanitation,” says Sophie Denis, operations manager at Navaya. “We’re not only determined to cultivate high-quality cannabis, but we’re also committed to fostering a community of talented people who strive for success and contributing back to our local communities. These are important aspects of our corporate DNA.”

Navaya will be recruiting for the roles through direct sourcing with a recruiting agent.  Full job descriptions will be available on local job board Jobillico and on Navaya’s website.
